Info | Hi there…. my name is Roxette, Roxie to my friends and I am a very friendly Rottweiller breed wearing the very on-trend black and tan colours. I came to the Shelter last month having been found by soldiers at an army facility. They fed and watered me but unfortunately, they could not keep me and brought me to this lovely Shelter. I am a happy dog but can be slightly nervous sometimes. I have had my vaccinations and I have tested negative for Leish and Erlichia. As you will see, my facial beauty is slightly different to most Rotties. I have a condition whereby it looks as though I have a skin condition; I haven’t, the white marks you see are white hairs. I am usually very calm and friendly around both humans and other dogs and love to play tuggie and ball when I get the opportunity. You can see from my pictures that I am currently on a leash, the reason behind this is two-fold; my secure den is currently under construction – I am a bit of fence-hopper as I am not too good being confined – and I actually prefer to be on the leash. I think that once I find someone who will take the time and invest a lot of love in me, I will become more accepting of an enclosed area. I am really excited at the prospect of being picked by someone looking for a loyal friend and new member of their family. The Shelter also offers a ‘child test’ – this will enable us to see if the dog is comfortable around small or young children.
